tableware, mainly bowls
since 2022 I deal with tableware and especially with bowls. In the process, a form has developed that seems to float. With a slightly thicker bottom that offers both a heat depot and a pleasant shape that fits well in the hand. The bowl is varied from as an espresso cup, tea bowl, soup bowl to fruit bowl. Two different types of clay, some of which are not glazed on the outside, create a lively variety.
seit 2022 beschäftige ich mich mit Tableware und insbesondere mit Schalen. Dabei hat sich eine Form entwickelt, die zu Schweben scheint. Mit einem etwas dickeren Boden der sowohl ein Wärmedepot als auch eine angenehme Form anbietet, die gut in der Hand liegt. Die Schale wird von als Espresspotasse, Teeschale, Suppenschale bis zur Obstschale variiert. Zwei unterschiedliche Tonsorten, die teilweise außen nicht glasiert sind, schaffen eine lebendige und griffige Vielfalt.
